METHOD AND APPARATUS TO TRAP DUST FROM REMOVED GASSES OF ASPHALT-CONCRETE WORKS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: construction materials industry. SUBSTANCE: whirled gass stream is fed on funnel-shaped film of bitumen with viscosity of 60 100 s, decreasing gas speed due to sharp increase of separation chamber volume. Then gas is brought in contact with atomized bitumen, using blowing over film screen, that is formed of bitumen with viscosity of 30 70 s. Apparatus to realize the method has cylindrical body, ring-type case with coupled to it inlet branch-pipe and windows for gas outgoing in its lower wall. Diffuser with repelling cone is placed along axis of the body and cocentrically to the case. Apparatus also has two tore-shaped distributors of liquid, first of which is situated in upper part of diffuser, and second one in case at upper edge of its outer side wall, slime collector and upper branch-pie for purified gass removal.
