GAS SCRUBBING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning gases from finely-dispersed particles in various industries. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vertical housing, sludge settling tank, water and gas supply and discharge branch pipes, sludge discharge branch pipe, rotor with perforated disk and coaxial cylinders having vertical slits secured on it. Apparatus is provided with hollow perforated shaft; secured coaxially on inner surface of cover of housing are hollow cylinders with vertical slits. Coaxial cylinders of rotor are fitted at clearance between apparatus cover and coaxial cylinders of rotor. Innovation of invention consists in elongation of gas supply branch pipe with central perforated pipe located inside it, disk form of lower portion of rotor with radial plates, attachment of hollow immovable coaxial cylinders having vertical slits to cover, availability of holes in disk at base of first cylinder and addition of water steam to gas flow delivered for scrubbing. EFFECT: increased capacity of apparatus by gas phase; enhanced efficiency of cleaning gas from finely-dispersed particles. 2 dwg
