FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: silencer has cylindric housing 1 with front and back walls, the latter being made up as trancated cone 5, inlet branch pipe 2, outlet branch pipe 3, and inner baffles made up as cones 6. The tops of cones 6 face the outlet branch pipe. The side surface of each cone has cuts at the base. The cuts define guiding tabs 8. Cones 6 are secured to frame 7. The flat front wall is inclined to the longitudinal axis of housing 1. Inlet branch pipe 2 is arranged tangentially to the housing near its axis. Outlet branch pipe 3 is made up as a diffuser.
