FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed muffler comprises a cylindrical casing, inlet and outlet branch pipes fitted on end face walls, lengthwise pipe with helical cut and swirlers with guide vanes. The muffler features a perforated casing arranged inside the aforesaid one to make a chamber therein, while the said swirlers are fitted in the perforated casing on the pipe.
EFFECT: higher silencing efficiency.
