FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to exhaust systems of internal combustion engines. Proposed silencer comprises cylindrical housing with side walls. Housing accommodates two dividers rigidly installed opposite to each other, each being made in form of truncated cone with hole in vertex. Silencer has two inlet branch pipes and one outlet branch pipe. Each inlet branch pipe is located in base zone. Base coincides with side wall of housing of corresponding divider being arranged tangentially to housing. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions, simplified easy- to-manufacture silencer. 5 dwg
