COMBUSTION CHAMBER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: gas and mazut combustion in steam boilers. SUBSTANCE: combustion chamber has rectangular chamber 1, inclined burners 7 22, installed in tiers on two opposite walls 2 and 3 in chamber 1, and jets 23 to feed gaseous agent in the chamber. The jets are installed on chamber heart. Axes of burners 7 22 are parallel to the walls being free of burners. Burner of opposite walls are displaced with respect to each other in one tier and installed in the same vertical plane of adjacent tiers. Jets 23 are distributed in central part of heart 6 and have slots. Long symmetric axes of the jets are parallel to burner-free walls. Jets 23 provided with slots may be additionally provided with tubes 24 to feed highly reactive fuel in combustion chamber. EFFECT: higher effective combustion. 2 cl, 3 dwg
