FIELD: pulse X-ray equipment. SUBSTANCE: generator 1 has pulse transformer 3 with coaxial outer primary winding 7 and inner secondary winding 9 made in the form of conical spiral. Metal tube unit 11 and ferrite rods 12 placed along it are positioned inside spiral. Tube 11 is electrically connected to high-voltage end of secondary winding. Generator may also include inductance coil 6 embracing high-voltage electrode 17 of X-ray tube 5 which is linked with one lead to one of electrodes 16 of discharger 4 and with the other lead to metal case of generator 1.
