FIELD: installations for water or air decontamination. SUBSTANCE: ozonizer has controlled pulse generator, storage element and pulse transformer. Ozone generator is connected to output winding of pulse transformer. In addition, ozonizer includes power compression line series-connected between storage element and primary winding of pulse transformer. Correction capacitor and auxiliary switching element are connected in parallel to primary winding of pulse transformer. Ozone generator has high-voltage electrodes positioned at variable spacing, barrier dielectric and auxiliary cooling grounded electrode. High-voltage electrodes are made identical and arranged inside auxiliary electrode. Contact of dielectric coating high-voltage electrodes with auxiliary electrode is provided at not less than one place. Auxiliary electrode divides discharge gap into two discharge chambers.
