FIELD: cultural and educational articles. SUBSTANCE: device comprises a set of rings made up of several groups of two kinds, each kind consisting of four flat rings of a flexible material. Each ring in each group has six cutouts arranged around the perimeter on the outer and/or inner side. The depth of said cutouts is equal to half the ring width while their width is not smaller than the ring thickness. The outer and inner sides of each of the four rings of one kind making up one group have the form of a regular hexagon while the outer and inner sides of each of the four rings in one group have the form of a circle. The device for shaping a body of volume has additionally a base with at least two guide posts of a different cross section whose overall dimensions are not larger than the distance between the cutouts on the rings of the set.
