FIELD: deposition wear-resistant layer. SUBSTANCE: arc deposition is performed by wide-layer rollers with vibrating consumable electrode. In this case jet cooling of reverse side of article is conducted over the entire width of guided roller in zone displaced with reference to position of welding arc towards side inverse to direction of deposition of roller by distance equal from three quarters to two thicknesses of deposited article. Cooling intensity of this zone with heat removal is set within limits from up to , where qсв is heat power of arc, cal/s; δ is thickness of deposited articles, cm; l is factor of heat conductivity of material of article, cal/cm s C; C is thermal capacity of material of article, cal/g C; b is width of deposited roller, cm. Cooling intensity is controlled by change of flow rate of cooling atmosphere. Cooling gear is set relative to arc deposition machine and is moved in step with it so that required value of displacement of cooling zone is kept with regard to zone of arc burning. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of arc deposition on thin-walled articles. 2 dwg
