FIELD: tillage tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to strengthen and increase the abrasive wear resistance of the working surfaces of tillage tools by argon-arc surfacing with a non-consumable electrode. The hardfacing paste consists of graphite, a ceramic component and a binder. As a ceramic component, the paste contains a welding flux containing, by wt.%: SiO2 42-46; MnO 36-41; Fe2O3 no more than 1; Al2O3 no more than 6; CaO no more than 10; MgO no more than 3; CaF2 is the rest. The paste contains isopropanol as a binder. The optimal ratio between the volume fractions of graphite: flux: binder is 0.6-0.8 : 0.4-0.2 : 1. The total content of the volume fractions of graphite and flux is 1. By varying the content of graphite and flux, one can control the deposition depth and the degree of carburization of the deposited layer, which makes it possible to obtain various structures based on carbide phases in a metal matrix that are uniform in the depth of deposition.
EFFECT: invention strengthens and increases the abrasive wear resistance of the working surfaces of tillage tools.
