FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: antitheft device has rod with end clamps for connecting with pedals and steering gear. Rod has standard lock with shackle or inner bar. Lower clamp is made in form of bifilar hook vertical opening of which exceeds horizontal overall size of two neighboring pedals, and horizontal opening exceeds width of embraced levers. When locking one pedal, upper horizontal opening of bifilar hook exceeds thickness of pedals with attachment lever, with lower opening being smaller than width of pedals, but bigger than width of its lever. Circular grooves are made in upper part of rod over width of lock bar for adjusting working length of rod to suit cars of different models in which upper part of rod can be secured on steering column or steering wheel to prevent self-propelled movement of car.
