FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in engine building. Diesel engine starting heater consists of boiler, pump unit (7), switch (12), shield (13), liquid pipelines (14), (15), (16) and (17), on which funnel (18) is installed and two drain taps (19), (20), fuel lines (21), (22), (23), (24) and (25), connected through T-joint (26) and tank (27), on which valve (28) is installed, with engine power supply system. Boiler includes heat exchanger (1), burner (2) with a unit of electromagnetic valve (3) installed on it, an electric heater chamber (4), nozzles (5), and electric spark plug (6) installed in burner (2). Pump unit (7) includes liquid, air and fuel pumps (8), (9) and (10) driven by one electric motor (11). Gas discharge branch pipe (29) is connected through a cavity between double walls of oil casing (30) with gas discharge pipe (31). Electronic control unit (42) is electrically connected to ambient air temperature sensor (43), engine cooling system coolant temperature sensor (45), burner (2) thermal sensor (44), solenoid valve (3) of burner, electric heater (4) of fuel, electric spark plug (6), electric motor (11) of pump unit, contactor of float valve (28) and switch (12). Electromagnetic spool-type fuel distributor (46) and fuel feed pump (47), which are electrically connected to electronic control unit (12), are connected to main line (25) for connecting the fuel lines of the starting heater to the engine supply system. Heater is additionally equipped with tape electric fuel heater (49) and viscometer sensor (50). Tape electric heater (49) is electrically connected to control unit (42) and is installed in the fuel line from T-joint (26) to the chamber of electric fuel heater (4) installed on the boiler. Viscometer sensor (50) is installed in fuel line (24) of the pressure chamber of fuel pump (10) of pump unit (7) and is electrically connected to control unit (42). Gas discharge pipe (31) is connected to cavity formed between walls of fuel tank (51) and heating casing (52), in which fuel tank is installed.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of engine starting and ensuring its stable operation by heating the fuel lines and fuel tank and eliminating the increase in viscosity and paraffinization of diesel fuel.
