FIELD: manufacture of engines. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine with extended working stroke has at least one piston 16 linked with crankshaft 8 by means of connecting rod 13 and synchronizing shaft 7 with gears. Cranks 4 are provided with external toothed rims 5 and internal toothed rims 12 secured on crank cheeks. Pair of connecting rod gears 11 is rigidly connected with big end of connecting rod 13. Crankshaft 8 is mounted in bearings in cranks 4 for engagement of connecting rod gears 11 with internal toothed rims 12 at ratio equal to 1:2; external toothed rims 5 are made for engagement with gears of synchronizing shaft 7.
