INERTIA CLUTCH Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2053421 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: clutch has driving clutch part made up as driving shaft 1 and carrier constructed as diametrical axles 2. The driven clutch part consists of at least two driven axially alined shafts 3 and central wheels 4 mounted on the driven shafts and kinematically interconnected through satellites 5. Weights made up as flywheels 6 are coaxially mounted on the satellites. Driven shafts 3 and driving shaft 1 are interconnected via free-running braking mechanisms which transmit a torque from the driven shafts to the driving shaft. Driven shafts 3 and driving shafts 1 can be axially alined. A torque is transmitted due to changing direction of angular momentum vectors of flywheels 6 when they rotate about axes O-O of the clutch and axes O1-O1 of satellites and flywheels. It is similar to the rotation with respect the point of intersection of the axes Б1. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 2 dwg
