FIELD: agriculture, chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: device for loosening bales of fibre material has column with two bale-selecting units which travel along vertical guides, mobile product-carrying lines, immobile product-carrying line, means to remove fibres from immobile product-carrying line. End sections of mobile product-carrying lines interact through feeding means with immobile product-carrying line. Immobile product-carrying line is divided by vertical partition and has horizontal upper wall made of sealing elastic tape. Feeding means of end sections of mobile product-carrying lines are positioned between vertical guides and means to remove product from immobile product-carrying line and are placed in symmetry on frame with vertical walls where spring-loaded rollers for lifting of sealing tape are located. Frame has sealing strip interacting with elastic tape and end section of each mobile product-carrying line. EFFECT: enhanced operational productivity and reliability. 2 cl, 5 dwg
