FIELD: electrotechnical equipment. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with sterilization of liquid and gaseous media. It is necessary to develop, based upon electrode-free UHF gas-discharge lamps, efficient compact and sufficiently prolonged means of complex UHF and UV impact providing "dosage" of UHF-energy for reliable ignition and keeping UV- radiating discharge, and, also, for UHF-irradiation; the work at different frequencies of UHF-excitation including low frequencies where it is possible to achieve increased penetration depth into UHF irradiation-treated medium; the docking of device with coaxial UHF-adapter. The suggested device consisting of UHF energy radiator, the source of UV-optic radiation is designed as, at least, one axis-symmetrical electrode-free UHF-gas discharge lamp. UHF energy radiator is designed as slotted system of electromagnetic coupling located at external conductor. Section of external conductor of coaxial line with fenestrated system of electromagnetic coupling could be designed as a spiral with grooves between coils. The present innovation enables to provide multi-purpose nature of the suggested device for different frequencies of UHF- excitation and possibility to develop efficient irradiating devices.
