FIELD: armament of combat vehicles. SUBSTANCE: turret indexing mechanism includes worm reduction unit with input shaft, worm and driven worm gear. Driven worm gear is kinematically coupled by means of vertical shaft, friction clutch and driven gear to gear of turret race. Frame of change-over switch of electric or hand drive is provided with additional reduction gear which body is enhanced as cantilever on body of worm reduction unit. Body of change-over switch is attached to it. Case of additional reduction gear is fitted with assembly covers, it houses driving, intermediate and driven gears. Driving gear of additional reduction gear is put on driving axle manufactured for interaction with electric or hand drive with the aid of change-over switch. Inputs shaft with worm is fabricated extended to carry driven gear of additional reduction gear. Body of additional reduction gear anchored as cantilever enables hand drive to be removed to area in working zone most convenient for operator. EFFECT: increased convenience of operation. 3 dwg
