FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: turret rotation mechanism comprises a reduction gear. The reduction gear includes a kinematic chain of geared pairs of cogwheels which is connected to the gear rim of a race and is made as per two-flow diagram with power engagement of two flows with the gear rim of the race. Two toothed wheels are set coaxially at the output of each flow, coupled by a torsion bar and a play taking up device. The first toothed wheel is an output one (main cogwheel), the second toothed wheel is an intermediate one. The output toothed wheel is made with the possibility of rotation in respect to the intermediate one. The play taking up device is installed between the torsion bar and the intermediate toothed wheel, is adjustable as per the direction and value of play taking up. The direction of play taking up moments of the first and the second flow is opposite, the play taking up moment is equal to the load moment value.
EFFECT: reduced wear of a race, improved operational characteristics of a rotation drive.
