FIELD: building engineering. SUBSTANCE: absorbing apparatus has contact chamber with upper section having smaller diameter and lower section having larger diameter, connecting wall made with convexity upwards, separator with shell, separation chamber, branch pipe for gas supply mounted tangentially to section, device for spraying and branch pipe for liquid outlet, branch pipe for gas outlet. The section is made narrowing downwards and is equipped with nozzles on the joint with wall. The shell is also made narrowing downstairs and is equipped with branch pipes for liquid replenishment and overflowing and also with device for liquid outlet located on its joint with section. Upper part of section has sprinkler. The devices are made as branch pipes connected by flexible pipeline. The branch pipes are mounted tangentially to interior surface and with cut according to radius of shell and section, correspondingly. EFFECT: enhanced quality of gas cleaning. 1 cl, 2 dwg
