FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: cylinder is made up as a cylinder-piston group provided with a compressor at its inlet. The air is not compressed in the cylinders. The air is compressed in the compressor up to the design compression ratio. As a result, the cylinders are filled with air during the full stroke of the piston when the piston moves from the top dead center to the bottom dead center. In so doing, the air which supplied to the cylinders shows high specific density. Therefore liter power generated by cylinders increases. The cylinders of the combined engine are used to perform the constant burning volume cycle. The rod ends of the pistons are provided with yokes having rollers interposed between the ends of the piston rods and cams of the rod drive mounted on the engine disk. The engine is provided with the cam disk of the valve gear coupled with the disk. The rollers are mounted on both sides of the rollers, yokes, and in grooves of fixed cylinders of the housing. The path for discharging gas from cylinders is in communication with the inlet of the compressor through the mixer and to the inlet of the path of the expansion machine. The cams of the piston rod drive have areas at the parts of the rotation of the cam disks corresponding to the positions of the pistons at the bottom dead center and phases of the mixture formation, fuel burning, and gas expansion.
