FIELD: nuclear technology. SUBSTANCE: radioisotope layers are located in sealed case from which air is evacuated. Emitter is irradiated by radiation of radioisotopes directed in opposition. Emitter is composed of layers of different matters, for example metals, displaying different coefficients of secondary electron emission alternating in sequence and insulated from each other. In this case one layers are interconnected by conductors and form positive terminal of source and other layers are interconnected by other conductors and form negative terminal of source.
