FIELD: optical frequency standards. SUBSTANCE: frequency-regulated laser has optical cavity one of whose mirrors is provided with piezocompensator connected to automatic frequency control unit, nonlinear-absorption cell, and photodetector whose output is electrically connected to input of high-frequency filter, is provided, in addition, with optical insulator, light splitter, cylindrical lens, flat reflecting mirror, amplitude detector, and astigmatic element with nontransparent spot applied to its surface. Optical insulator, light splitter, nonlinear-absorption cell, cylindrical lens, and reflecting mirror are installed in tandem behind mirror of laser cavity; photodetector is optically coupled with nonlinear-absorption cell through light splitter; high-frequency filter is connected to automatic frequency control unit through amplitude detector; cylindrical lens is spaced from reflecting mirror surface at distance equal to focal length of lens; astigmatic element is mounted in laser cavity; nontransparent spot is aligned with optical axis of laser cavity. It will be also good practice to mount mirror on piezomodulator connected to automatic frequency control unit. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 2 cl
