FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method of reconstruction of kiln, mainly of a vertical one, consists in disassembly of worn-out lining and its replacement. After disassembly of the lining step- bearing beams are welded to the kiln body; bearing bricks and feather-edge brick archs are installed on them; straight brick is placed horizontally on the archs forming gas-distributing refractory grates, separating the kiln shaft into zones. Step-bearing beams are installed below the bottom level by 0.2 to 0.6 of the kiln inside diameter. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 cl, 2 dwg
