FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: in concentration, prior to classification and subsequent photometric separation, bauxite is subjected to firing at temperature of 300-400 C for 5-25 min. Higher quality of concentrated bauxite with respect to content of aluminium, iron and silicon modulus, increased bauxite yield and simplified process. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 5 dwg
