FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes the hollow body 1 with the cone mounting opening 2 and the screw 3 with the annular groove 5 on its head 4, defining together with the annular groove 7 of the body 1 a cavity for placing half-rings. The cylindrical portion 9, abutting to the head 4 of the screw 3, has the annular groove 11, in which the locking ring 12 is arranged. Two slots 13, 14 are provided along a portion from the end 10 of the cylindrical portion 9 till the annular groove 5 on the head of the screw 3. Cylindrical pins are arranged in the above mentioned slots. In order to fasten the tool with use of a wrench, had been introduced through the central passage 18 to the recess 16 for the wrench, the screw 3 is being turned on to the central threaded hole of the tool to be fastened, and it is being drawn to the cone mounting hole 2 of the body 1.
