FIELD: metal pressure forming. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a carriage, being moved along guides of a frame and carrying a mechanism for clamping a tube, a mechanism for cutting with a separate rotation drive of a spindle and a drive unit for moving the carriage. Spring-loaded cutter holders are mounted on an end of the spindle of the cutting mechanism, the cutter holders engage with dents of a hollow rod, arranged inside of the spindle, having a bearing assembly and kinematically joined with the carriage and with the mechanism for clamping the tube. The mechanism for clamping the tube is in the form of two parallelogram-type mechanisms, including jaws-connecting rods, kinematically connected one with another, and cranks, one of which is spring-loaded and provided by a following roller. The drive unit for moving the carriage is in the form of a crank-slider mechanism, including a crank, being kinematically connected by its one end with rolls of a tube welding mill with the aid of a shaft and a coupling, and by its other end - with the slider- carriage with the aid of a connecting rod, having a spring-loaded sleeve. The rotation drive of the spindle of the mechanism for cutting tubes is in the form of three mutually engaged gear wheels, connected with an electric motor.
