FIELD: wood-sawing industry. SUBSTANCE: saw frame has bed-plate, drive with planetary converters the satellite axes of which are kinematically connected with upper and lower crossbows of saw frame with saw delivery. Cutting edges of teeth are made facing each other symmetrically relative to the middle of saws. In this case rotation of different direction is given to upper and lower planetary converters. Enhanced quality of sawing is ensured by gainful shifting of saw frame during cutting. Teeth scraping at the beginning of idle stroke is excluded by teeth withdrawal from the cut during their movement in cutting direction. Load nonuniformity on engines is reduced by increasing the frequency of application of cutting force and by decreasing the idle stroke up to 40%. EFFECT: enhanced quality of sawing. 3 dwg
