FIELD: sawmill operation. SUBSTANCE: in order to enhanced the efficiency of sawing by means of automatic change of the saw frame slope depending on the amount of the lumber supply, a four-link chain is proposed. By means of its connecting-rod it is hinged with the upper cross beam of the saw frame through a spider. The rocker arms are hinged with nuts mounted on the lead screws hinged with the bed. One of the nuts is kinematically connected with the pickup of the supply velocity. The other nut interacts with the transducers for limiting the saw frame slope. To ensure the synchronous mechanized rotation the lead screws are connected between themselves by the tight kinematic coupling and have the drive of adjustable shiftings. The spider is mounted in the upper cross beam of the saw frame for the axial displacement of pivots. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of sawing, the compensated errors of kinematic connections of the saw frame. 2 cl, 1 dwg
