Abstract RU 2084331 C1

FIELD: sawmills and wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: gang saw has bedframe 1, saw frame 2, feed mechanism and drive. Drive is made in form of drive shaft 8 with toothed wheels 10 on its ends getting into engagement with toothed wheels 11 installed on shafts with driving sprockets 12 and engaging with tension sprockets 16 through chains 17 forming two closed loops connected by axle 18 on which connecting rode 19 are hinge-mounted. Other ends of connecting rods 19 are hinge-connected with saw frame 2. Drive shaft 8 serves as tools shaft and trunnions 5 and 6 are made for fitting of rotary cutting tools. Feed mechanism is made in form of tracer hinge-mounted on saw frame 2. Other end of tracer rests on adjustable support installed on saw frame 2. Tracer engages with roller of leverage coupled though pawl with ratchet wheel installed on one shaft with sprocket 27 of chain drive whose chain engages with grip hinge-mounted on truck for logs.
