METHOD AND PLANT FOR REPROCESSING RUBBER-CONTAINING WASTE PRODUCTS Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: tyre industry. SUBSTANCE: in the method of reprocessing the rubber-containing waste products before their thermodestruction they are preliminarily and in succession processed by condensation product of vapor-gas mixture at temperature of 35-200 C till swelling degree 5-60% is achieved and by suspension of destroyed rubber in high-boiling hydrocarbons. In the plant for reprocessing rubber-containing waste products thermodestruction assembly has horizontally mounted reactor with built-in heat exchanger. The plant is equipped with suspension source of destroyed rubber in high-boiling hydrocarbons, with source being in communication with reactor. The plant has overflow reservoir for collecting condensation products of vapor-gas mixture. The reservoir input is connected with heat exchanger for condensation of vapor-gas mixture. The plant has pump main connecting overflow reservoir with reactor. At the output of overflow reservoir a valve is set up. The reactor is equipped with circuit for condensation products of vapor-gas mixture and for suspension in the form of by-pass tube communicating with working area of reactor and equipped with booster for discharge of condensation products, vapor-gas mixture and suspension.
