FIELD: processing and recycling of waste.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of processing industrial and domestic wastes. Method for processing crushed rubber-containing waste comprises their preliminary preparation, thermal decomposition in the furnace, separation of decomposition products into a vapor-gas mixture and a solid residue, separation of a heavy hydrocarbon fraction from the vapor-gas mixture. Wastes are preliminarily prepared by blowing them with steam until the temperature reaches 100 °C, and thermal decomposition is carried out in the medium of fuel oil at the start-up stage, and then – in the medium of the atomized heavy hydrocarbon fraction and superheated water vapor at their mass ratio (0.1–0.5):1. Heavy hydrocarbon fraction is separated from the vapor-gas mixture by water by spraying it into the mixture stream in an amount of 5–15 % of the mass flow rate of the mixture, and the metal is separated from the solid residue by magnetic separation, after which the zinc oxide-containing product is separated by dielectric separation and a qualitative technical carbon is obtained.
EFFECT: invention provides lower energy costs, reduced harmful emissions into the environment and higher quality of waste products.
