FIELD: materials handling. SUBSTANCE: load gripping crossmember has two telescopically connected sections 1 and 2, hydraulic cylinder 3 installed in section 2. Rod 4 of hydraulic cylinder 3 is rigidly coupled with section 1. Slot 13 made in section 1 serves to receive loops 9 of section 2. Sections 1 and 2 have loops 9 by means of which crossmember can be suspended from crane hook by means of ropes 10, shackles 11 and oval link 12. Ends of sections 1 and 2 are furnished with rigging members 14 to which load gripping and lifting slings 15 are fastened. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
