FIELD: materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed hook hanger has casing with cheeks, blocks placed between cheeks and hoisting ropes of load-lifting machine passed over blocks. It has also crossmember arranged in lower part of casing. Hydraulic cylinder installed on crossmember is connected by its rod with shank of hook. Space of hydraulic cylinder communicates with space of power cylinder through parallel-connected adjustable restrictor and check valve. Power cylinder is installed on cheek of hook casing for displacement. Rod of power cylinder is mechanically coupled with resilient telescopic element rigidly coupled with spring-loaded piston of control hydraulic cylinder rigidly mounted on casing cheek. Space of control hydraulic cylinder is hydraulically connected with space of above-indicated hydraulic cylinder whose rod is rigidly coupled with hook shank.
