FIELD: building materials industry. SUBSTANCE: chipped cement slab is cleaned and its surface is coated with a compound containing chlorosulfonated polyethylene - 60 to 90 mass numbers, concentrate of vermiculite ore based on laminated magnesium hydrosilicate - 5 to 20 mass numbers, inorganic pigment - 1 to 10 mass numbers. Prior to application, the compound is brought up to viscous-fluid state, and applied with a brush or roller, then the coating is seasoned. The coating provides high fireproof and heatproof properties. The loss of coating mass at a fire resistance test by the "earthenware duct" method makes up 4 to 5.1%. EFFECT: enhanced quality. 3 tbl
