FIELD: construction, more particularly preparation of fireproof coating on surfaces of building structures and materials, namely wood or polyvinyl. SUBSTANCE: composition comprising (wt %): 40-48 liquid glass and 52-60 vermiculite ore or talc is applied to prepared surface of structure by spraying or brush. The coating is applied in layer thickness of 1.5-2.5 mm. The coating is dried under natural conditions for 1-2 hours. EFFECT: improved properties of the fireproof coating.
