FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: contour of structural member is divided into sections, after which linear and angular parameters of these sections are measured; angles of inclination of normals and tangent lines at their ends are determined as well. Contour of structural member is approximated by systems of lines which are modelled by beams being deformed. Device for determination of parameters of contour of structural member has housing with roller mounted on it; connected with roller is angular displacement indicator and recorder linked with it. Mounted on housing is gyroscopic indicator of angle of inclination connected with recorder. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 cl, 7 dwg
