FIELD: hydro-aerodynamics.

SUBSTANCE: method relates to hydro-aerodynamics, primarily shipboard, and serves to locate fictitious (or imaginary or virtual) points of location of point pressure sources, using which it is customary to describe a wave pattern of shipborne wave system, consisting primarily of fore and aft systems of waves, and according to this pattern, analytical determination of wave resistance of moving relative to the medium, in particular free surface of water, or streamlined objects. Method of finding the position of fictitious points of point pressure sources of wave systems in a moving and/or streamlined object based on the fixed wave field parameters, includes construction of common boundary of wave system of shipborne wave system, and position of fictitious points of location of point pressure sources of systems of shipborne wave system is determined depending on wavelength. At that, the fictitious point of the fore wave system is located by depositing the distance of the multiple half-length of the wave from the bottom or top of the transverse wave, measured from the booster wave and/or the following digestible fixed transverse wave or transverse waves and is controlled by arriving at this point lines of the wave field boundary of the given wave system, wherein the wavelength is determined from the profile of transverse waves in the direction of movement and/or streamlining of the object and/or divergent waves along the outer boundary of the zones of divergent waves. At that determination of reference points of non-wave system of waves is carried out, in particular, at coincidence of phases of wave systems and in antiphase of considered system of waves relative to previous one.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of finding the position of fictitious points of point pressure sources of wave systems in a moving or streamlined object on and/or near the boundary of media.
