FIELD: scintillation analysis of substances. SUBSTANCE: process involves injection of sample into spectral source or spray gun where particles of sample evaporate and vapors are irradiated by pulsating light flux containing analytical lines of gold and silver at exit. Optical signals are transformed into electric absorption pulse. For pulses coinciding in time relation of masses of selected elements in each particle of powder sample carrying analyzed elements is determined in addition. Coincidence of these pulses in time and their value characterize mineral form of analyzed elements and sizes of particles of their minerals in powder sample. Process is used for timely performance of geochemical surveys and prediction of ore deposits. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of process for timely analysis of samples of ores. 1 dwg
