FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: in order to measure concentration of dissolved metal and/or characteristics and concentration of metal admixture present in the form of separate particles, analyzable object in pulverized state is introduced into plasma of atmosphere-pressure gas discharge with such a speed, that particles of metal admixture distinctly pass into analytical zone. Emission of cloud of atomic vapor is recorded by photomultipliers disposed on spectral device (polychromator) output. Photomultipliers generate analytical signal containing information on concentration of dissolved metal and evaporated mass of admixture particles. Signal is transmitted on analyzing device separating continuous signal from dissolved metal and impulse signal from wear metal particles. EFFECT: extended analytical possibilities. 2 cl, 3 dwg
