FIELD: measuring equipment. SUBSTANCE: divider handle has a built-in free-running coupling installed so that its casing is rigidly connected with the handle, one part of its axle, with the base and its other part, with a transmitting member which provides for interaction with the rod revolution counter. Transmitting member has the form of a disc cam whose working surface has two symmetrical lobes consecutively engaging the rods of two spring-loaded switches whose contacts are electrically connected in parallel and connected to the input of the rod revolution counter. The counter is a removable electronic unit comprising successively-connected multiplication unit, memory and adding units, and indicator whose second inputs are connected to a control member of setting the pitch, adding and resetting, and a power supply source. EFFECT: higher measuring accuracy and handling convenience due to automatic counting of the length of the measured section, fixing it in the memory of the electronic unit, possibility of adding the lengths of several sections measured in the course of a given time, and a possibility of removing the electronic unit from the mechanical portion of the divider for presenting the measurement results. 2 cl, 3 dwg
