FIELD: transport engineering rear view mirrors installed in automobile saloon. SUBSTANCE: rear view mirror has body 2 made of plastic material, reflector 1 secured in body and holder in form of ball joint consisting of bracket 4 and two cam mechanisms with cams arranged inside collets 5 and 6 one of which is split ball support fitted in spherical hole 3 on reflector body. Collet 6 of bracket is rigidly fixed in cylindrical hole 13 on plate 14 installed on automobile body. Cavities are made on inner surfaces of collets 5, 6. Bosses made on end faces of cams are fitted in cavities. Reflector body and bracket are made of plastic material of hardness lower than that of cams.
