FIELD: holographic systems for information input. SUBSTANCE: holographic optical system for information display has display, unit forming screen image in operator's field of vision optically matched to display and incorporating passing hologram optical element and combiner mounted on front glass. Hologram optical element is manufactured in the form of unit of two holograms coupled with layers of immersion substance and so recorded that angle of incidence of beam on first hologram is equal to diffraction angle of beam across output of second hologram and diffraction angle of beam across output of first hologram is equal to angle of incidence of beam on second hologram. First hologram has focal power and second one does not have it. Reflecting layers of combiner are arranged in parallel to surface of its backing. EFFECT: high quality of image due to compensation of chromatic aberrations and exclusion of false images, possibility of employment of standard technologies to manufacture reflecting layers of combiner. 4 dwg
