FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: pulse source of optical radiation is used as energy source of excitation of screen. Screen is fabricated in the form of cooled temperature-conductive backing transparent for optical radiation having discrete elements applied on to its face surface, isolated from each other and absorbing optical radiation. Their dimensions are smaller than size of image of simulated point. Screen control device is manufactured in the form of deflection system with elements of optical matching and is placed on one optical axis with screen and source of optical radiation. Screen of monitor and deflection system are positioned in vacuum chamber and screen cooling system and source of optical radiation are located outside of vacuum chamber. Starter of source of optical radiation is electrically linked to control unit. EFFECT: improved quality of simulation of mobile objects by their thermal radiation. 4 cl, 1 dwg
