FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has test objects mounted on base 2 of upright 3, rotatable disks 6 having holes 8 for a set lenses to be placed there and lens holder 9 connected with rotation mechanism 7 having casing 15, winding mechanism with axle 16, spring 23, driving gear 17, second axle 24 and driven gear 25. Unit for locking disks has ratchet wheel 26, disk 6 and lever 27 kinematically engageable with ratchet wheel 26. Control unit is made in form of spring-loaded handle 30 rigidly attached to lever 27. First, lenses of positive dioptric power are settled in front of patient eye(s) to enable the patient to see the first vision acuity 0.1 line in vision test table like through fog. Next, the patient tries to force accommodation into the distance to gain success in clearing the line sharpness. During 5-6 min of the training treatment the patient tries to force his accommodation into the distance to gain success in clearing the line sharpness not only for the first line, but for the following lines also. Test lenses are changed automatically before the patient eyes upon his pressing or releasing control handle 30. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 2 dwg
