FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: fixture is designed for using together with pneumatic hammer having floating handle. It contains movable knife interacting with hammer shock worker and bracket with stationary knife. The bracket is hard-mounted with hammer housing by means of intermediate bushing has treaded joint both with housing and with bracket. The bushing serves at the same time as support for damper of percussions of movable knife during idling. The bracket has guide rod parallel to housing axis. The rod interacts with guide bushing fixed on floating hammer handle. The construction ensures the right angular position of bracket with respect to handle regardless of relative position of housing and bracket varying at regulating the free stroke of movable knife and initial position of movable and stationary knives. Spring for axial contraction of bracket to handle is put on guide rod. This spring together with one incorporated in hammer and forcing out the housing from handle provides for equiponderant axial position of handle, that is its vibration-proof insulating suspension. To slow down threaded connections of intermediate bushing with housing and bracket, the bushing consists of two halves tightened by bolts between themselves.
