HYDRAULIC HAMMER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: mining and construction machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: this hydraulically driven hammer is intended for crushing hard rock matter and materials of natural and artificial origin. Hammer has body which houses bushes with system of distributing passages and chamber, spool valve and stepped striker, barrel, and nut. Working tool is held by spring-operated device. Movable handle has sleeve which embraces body by spring with pre-compression between bottom of sleeve and nut. Body is provided with pipe unions for supply and taking-out of working fluid. Nut has blind central hole which is open at side of sleeve bottom. Nut, body and sleeve of handle have radial through-holes located on common geometrical axis. In assembled hammer, radial through-holes create common through-hole which receives cylindrical detent with flat on side surface oriented towards bottom of sleeve. Pre-compressed spring is seated in blind hole of nut with resting on flat of detent. Aforesaid embodiment of hydraulic hammer improves its performance characteristics due to more reliable fastening and operation of handle. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwg
