FIELD: storage of articles. SUBSTANCE: installation has cylindrical housing 1 with ring tiers 2 with central and periphery shafts. Tier 2 has fixed ring rows 7,8 and movable ring platforms 9 with compartments 3 for articles 4. Mounted in central and periphery shafts are, respectively, multiplace load cabin 5 and single-place load cabins 18. Compartments 3 of tier 2 and cabins 5 and 18 are furnished with self-contained articles displacement mechanisms. Ring and multiple row arrangement of compartments in tier increases capacity of complex. Use of rotary ring platforms and their engagement with fixed ring rows of compartments in tier increases speed of action, capacity and enhances convenience of operation. Provision of multiple accesses and articles delivery channels and possibility of selective addressing by means of rotary platforms in tier enhances convenience of operation and enlarges operating capabilities of complex. Use of rotary platforms in tier and self-contained articles displacement mechanisms in each compartment reduces power consumption of complex.
