FIELD: oil refining industry. SUBSTANCE: the process comprises delivering feedstock containing additives into furnace, heating the mixture, cooling it at the outlet and separating the resulting product into desired and side constituents, with view of increasing the amounts of lower olefins by reducing the amount of coke depositions and corrosion on inner surfaces of the equipment used. Additives are dissolved in polar solvent and are introduced into flow of hydrocarbon feedstock, the additives being II-A Group metal salts, phosphorus containing compounds and optionally sulfur containing compounds using water or alcohol as polar solvent, and additives are dissolved prior to introduction into flow of hydrocarbon feedstock.
