FIELD: petroleum chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes to use waste of methanol-isobutyl oil production to pyrolysis raw. This waste has the following components, wt. -%: methanol 5-50; water 20-75; ethanol 0.2-0.7; propanol about 0.1; isopropanol about 0.1; isobutanol 4-5, and other impurities 2-3. Addition of isobutyl oil to gasoline (180 C) in the process of pyrolysis decreases coke formation from 0.38% to 0.15%. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, high yield of aromatic hydrocarbons, ethylene and propylene, decreased coke formation. 1 tbl
